“Michelle discovered Yoga while completing a Reiki Masters and Chi Massage course in Cape Town.  Initial practice developed a contentment and stillness of mind that inspired her to explore deeper into the world of Yoga and meditation.  She completed a RYT 200  Ashtanga / Vinyasa teacher training course in 2010 in Cape Town.

Her development as teacher and practitioner, draws inspiration from a variety of styles of yoga and she continuously attends workshops by well known local and international yogis.  Her teaching reflects these influences, and students can look forward to being introduced to contemporary insights as part of their traditional practice.

In 2013 Michelle completed a 200-hour Introduction to Forrest Yoga teacher training course , an advanced training with Ana Forrest in London, and a Teacher’s Immersion with Patrick Creelman. In 2014 , Michelle spent 4 months immersed in India. The experience has significantly contributed towards her approach to her practise , her life and style of teaching. In July 2014, Michelle completed an intensive week in Cape Town with Simon Borg-Olivier, the co-founder of Synergy.

Michelle focuses on authentic Hatha principles with an emphasis on freedom, harmony, alignment and balance throughout the entire physical and energetic body. Through daily meditation and asana practise she continues to learn and develop as a teacher.
