Coming from a competitive sporting background, Michelle discovered Yoga while completing a Reiki Masters and Chi Massage course in 2008. Initial practice developed a contentment and stillness of mind that inspired her to explore deeper into the world of Yoga. Michelle completed a RYT 200-hour internationally recognised Ashtanga / Vinyasa teacher training course in 2010 in St Francis Bay.
Her development, as teacher and practitioner, draws inspiration from a variety of styles of yoga and through attending workshops by well known local and international yogis. Her teaching reflects these influences, and students can look forward to being introduced to contemporary insights as part of their traditional practice.
Michelle completed a 200-hour Introduction to Forrest Yoga teacher training course, an advanced training with Ana Forrest in London, and a Teacher’s Immersion with Patrick Creelman in 2013.
Through self-practice and meditation, she continues to learn: inspired daily by the physical benefits and healing qualities of breath and Yoga. Michelle believes that the practice of Yoga has the power to create a healthy union of body, mind & spirit, and by extension, bring self awareness & consciousness to the world.
